1. Contact the Artist

     If you have any questions regarding artwork on this website, please feel free to contact the artist. If desired, detail images of artwork can often be sent to you by email. If you are interested in purchasing a piece on this website, contact the artist by email at: info@erinfarnsworth.com

     In your email, be sure to include the title and media (oil, watercolor, etc.) of the piece, as well as your name and mailing address. Also, please use a descriptive subject line (something mentioning rock paintings, buying a painting, questions about a painting, etc.). This will ensure your email's safe delivery to our inbox!

2. Receive a Confirmation Email

     A confirmation email will be sent to you to verify that the piece is still available for sale. Included in this email will be instructions for mailing a payment or for paying online by bank transfer, credit or debit card. All online payments are made through PayPal.

3. Send your Payment

     Mail a payment, or make a payment online (information on the address to mail your check payment, or how to purchase online will be sent in your confirmation email). Remember to verify that your piece is still available! The piece will be shipped upon receipt of payment (when payment has cleared and funds have been received).

4. Receive the Piece

     Before mailing, the painting or print will be wrapped in acid-free glasine paper (for protection), carefully padded and boxed. A signed Certificate of Authenticity will accompany the painting, along with instructions for the care and life of your new work of art. Pieces can (nearly) always be shipped to the continental United States. Shipping of smaller pieces (24 inches or less) to the cont. US is FREE!--a shipping fee will be added for larger pieces (this information will be included in your confirmation email).  Only residents of Illinois pay sales tax (details and prices will be included in your confirmation email).  Shipping to addresses outside of the US is now possible! The cost of shipping will be added to the price of the piece, as detailed in your confirmation email and preliminary invoice.

Framing     All oil paintings and "stretched paper" watercolors are ready to hang, unless otherwise noted. White gessoed canvas or watercolor paper is stretched around the sides of a medium-weight stretcher frame, leaving 3/4" white or painted edges with no visible staples for contemporary presentation (without a frame). Hanging wire and hardware are secured to the back of the stretcher frame (also unseen if hung). Stretched paper watercolors are sprayed with a protective, archival acrylic coating. Both stretched oil paintings and watercolors will also fit standard oil painting frames, if desired. All watercolors not listed as "stretched," and all drawings and lithographs come flat, matted and unframed (ready to be framed under glass).

Signature     All watercolor paintings, lithographs and drawings are signed by the artist on the front of the painting. Lithographs include edition and date information on the front of the piece. All oil paintings are signed by the artist on the back of the piece.

Condition     All pieces are new and in excellent condition.

Authenticity     Each piece will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist, and detailing proper care for the life of the painting.

You can feel confident that the reproductions shown on this website are good representations of the piece, but that you are likely to be more pleased with the detail, color and richness of the original. If you feel dissatisfied with the piece upon receipt, a 100% refund of the purchase price (minus shipping costs, if applicable) of the piece will be made if returned (postmarked) in same condition within 7 working days of customer receipt.

The purchaser of a piece owns the rights to the physical/real painting, print, or drawing alone...no image, print, photograph, or reproduction of any kind can be made of this, or any other piece advertised here without written permission of the artist (photos for insurance purposes and incidental family/household photos are of course OK). The only other exception to this rule is our banner link, which can be freely copied and used on links pages of other websites.
